Swedish Massage

This is a 2 day intensive course.  The first day, the student is taken through the process of massage, covering the massage movements, client care and contraindications.  Afte day one the student will be required to practice their practical massage skills at home before returning for the 2nd day, one week later.

This course is ideal for complete beginners.

Hot Stone Therapy
 
This massage technique uses smooth, hand-picked and specially selected rocks to provide an incredibly relaxing treatment. This popular treatment uses hot  stones to really work deep into the muscles.
 
 Hot stone is a speciality massage therapy treatment. 

You must already hold a massage certificate, such as swedish massage before booking the course.

The course covers the following:
  • The origins of hot stone massage
  • •Theoretical and practical study of the benefits, effects and application
  • •Benefits and effects of this therapy on the body
  • •Treatment room preparation
  • •Consultations, contraindications, medical referral, health, safety & hygiene
