Introduction
Reflexology is a holistic treatment which treats the whole person – mind, body and spirit. It induces a state of balance by stimulating the body’s own potential to heal both physically and emotionally.
This therapy is performed on the feet using special manipulations with varying degrees of pressure. It is based on the principal that there are reflex zones in the feet which are linked by energy pathways to corresponding parts of the body and, when pressure is applied, it stimulates the movement of energy along these pathways.
Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to specific points on the feet and hands to influence the health of corresponding body parts.
Stimulate these points stimulates the sensors and waves of relaxation through the body. Reflexology is used to aid health and wellbeing, prevent diseases, promote relaxation, a reduction in pain and to improve general health.
This course requires the student to carry out some 'case studies' which means they carry out some treatments at home prior to certification. The course is carried out either on a one to one or two to one basis.
The course is accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists which means you will be able to gain insurance and work on clients as a Reflexologist
You will receive full ongoing support and mentoring during and after your training.

Qualification Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded a Reflexology Diploma “ by Taylored For You Beauty Training Academy which is accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT) .

Please note: home study is required with this course. You will have an extensive manual covering anatomy and physiology which needs to be studied. We will also give you recommendations on additional books and reading if you are interested.
Case studies will be required to be carried out between the two days. We want to you get the most out of your training and feel confident in your new skill, so a little homework is required.
Full aftercare and support by your tutor will always be available to you, as with all other courses carried out with Taylored For You.
